A butcher’s shop has operated here for more than 100 years. The Tower’s family took on the shop in 1987, expanding the shop over the decades. The family even moved out of the adjacent house to make way for an extension to the shop, including the addition of a bakery. Everything sold in the shop is as local as it can be, supporting local and British farmers, giving customers a range of high-quality meats at affordable prices.

Located in Hornby, the shop services the Lune Valley area, including parts of Lancashire, Cumbria and Yorkshire. The butchers is famous for lamb, beef (hung for a minimum of three weeks) and award-winning steak pies. Other award-winning produce includes; sausages, bacon, roasting joints, sausage rolls, quiches and fruit pies. Everything is made on the premises.

At the butchers you’ll also find free range eggs and an impressive range of jams, chutneys, biscuits, sauces and more.
